Three Hanis Irvine Prothero attorneys were officially sworn in as South King County Bar Association officers at the annual SKCBA event at Emerald Downs. The Honorable Jay White, King County Superior Court Judge who serves at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, performed his somewhat unorthodox but famous and hilarious swearing-in, as he has done for over a decade, to the delight of all present. HIP attorneys sworn in by Judge White were: Vanessa Vanderbrug (President), Erik Olsen (Vice-President). Thanks to the SKCBA for a fun evening.
