Brittan practices exclusively immigration law. She represents clients in removal proceedings before the Seattle, Tacoma, and Portland immigration courts, and performs significant appellate work before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also counsels clients on affirmative applications before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), including family based adjustment of status, naturalization, I-751 petitions, I-601 waivers, U visas, and T visas. She also has extensive experience representing immigrants abroad who are seeking immigrant visas through consular processing.

Shortly after graduating from law school, Brittan gained unique experience representing unaccompanied minor children with applications for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status before the Immigration Court and various Dependency courts. She then worked for three years at a Seattle law firm before joining Hanis Irvine Prothero.

Brittan is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and enjoys volunteering at various legal clinics throughout the area, including El Centro de la Raza's monthly clinic and One America's Citizenship Day.

Brittan is fluent in Spanish. She has studied Spanish for most of her life and refined her skills by studying abroad in Spain and Guatemala. In her free time, Brittan enjoys hiking, camping, biking, yoga, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
