Mike Ditchik,
Raymond Gessel, and
Mike Hanis have not only represented their clients in Mediation
and Arbitration Hearings, but have also served as Mediators
and/or Arbitrators countless times.
Mike Ditchik is on the South King
County panel of volunteer family law mediators, and has served
as a paid family law mediator for the past ten years. He
mediates in the sometimes highly emotional family law matters
which are the core of his own practice. With over twenty years
of legal experience, as a mediator his perspective can often bring
closure to such highly charged matters which would otherwise require
acrimonious and expensive trials.
Raymond Gessel has served as
both an arbitrator and mediator in civil litigation cases in King
County. His practical apporach to the application of law has
proven to be a sought after commodity in the alternate dispute resolution
process.
Mike Hanis is regularly appointed by the King County Superior
Court as the Arbitrator of Personal Injury and Commercial matters,
and has established a record of resolving such matters fairly
and efficiently, benefiting not only our busy Court system, but also
resulting in substantial savings to the clients whose attorneys appear
before him with their cases. Mike often uses the mediation
process in his own practice, especially on behalf of his clients involved
in construction and building disputes, real estate, commercial, and
eminent domain matters (condemnation cases).
Understanding the unique
dynamics of Mediation/Arbitration can often result in more
favorable results to clients than even a successful trial. Our
attorneys clearly comprehend the strengths and weaknesses of the process,
and know how to achieve the best results for you. All three
are also experienced trial lawyers, background that gives them credibility
in Mediation/Arbitration, both as advocates for their clients, and
as neutral facilitators of decisions and settlement.
SPECIAL
NOTE TO ATTORNEYS:
In addition to the experience Mike, Ray
and Mike can bring as professional neutrals, our office
facilities have also been specifically designed to allow efficient
and fair hearings.
The parking here is ample and free.
Even if you practice in Seattle or Tacoma, it is often more convenient
for attorneys to hold their clients' Mediation and Arbitration
hearings here, than in a large City. And if you haven't
visited Kent recently, you're in for a treat - new downtown shopping
malls, and many fine new restaurants.
Our reasonable rates may surprise
you, as compared to what you will often pay for comparable services in
Seattle, Tacoma, or the Eastside. If we are given the opportunity
to serve you, you have our commitment that we will be scrupulously
fair, will treat you and your clients with respect, and will never
act in a manner which will harm your client's level of respect for
your abilities and the quality of your services.
