Congratulations to HIP Partner, Patrick Hanis. Pat was awarded Kiwanian of the Year by the Meridian-Kent Kiwanis Club. He was recognized for chairing the largest fundraiser for the Club, participation on the board of the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Program, organizing birthday presents for donation to Seattle Children’s Hospital , and serving as a Board member. Hanis Irvine Prothero would like to wish our summer intern, Marcus Walker the best of luck as he returns to New England Law | Boston to enter his second year of law school. In Marcus’ first summer with HIP, he assisted with research and preparation of both civil and criminal law matters. He also attended and helped prepare for several depositions, motions and trials. Qualified candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as expert level skills with document and case management, Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidate must be knowledgeable with State and Local Court rules and procedures, know how to draft basic pleadings, have good phone presence and be comfortable speaking with opposing counsel and/or pro se opposing parties. Annette Bolster celebrates her 32nd year anniversary. 32 years ago this week, Mike Hanis hired Annette as his paralegal and the two have been working side by side ever since.
