3 injured in car accident after vehicle crosses onto sidewalk

Sidewalks are intended to be a safe place for pedestrians to travel to and from their destinations. Unfortunately, this isn't always the case, and when a vehicle leaves the road and crosses onto a sidewalk, the safely and well-being of nearby pedestrians could be placed a serious risk in the process. As many as three individuals suffered injuries after they were struck by a suspected drunk driver during a recent car accident in Washington.

Attempting to pass another vehicle on a two-lane road can be hazardous, especially at night or in areas where vision is obscured. Those who make a similar maneuver may leave others nearby scrambling to react to such a negligent decision, and the fallout of a subsequent collision could have disastrous consequences. A recent car accident involving such a maneuver has left two individuals with injuries and claimed the life of another in Washington.
