Fatal car accidents have left far too many families mourning over the sudden and unexpected loss of someone dear. A man could be facing criminal charges following a recent collision that claimed the lives of two women in Washington.

The accident is said to have occurred on a recent Friday morning when the driver of a westbound truck lost control and crossed through the median. Upon entering the opposite lanes of traffic, his truck proceeded to collide with a nearby car. Both the driver and passenger of the car reportedly suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the truck also suffered injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital soon thereafter. Although an investigation is underway, no further information was provided concerning what might have caused him to cross over the median. However, authorities have advised that he will likely be facing charges for vehicular homicide once the investigation into the incident comes to a close.
