Hanis Irvine Prothero, PLLC, is recruiting for a full time paralegal to join their Homeowners’ Association (HOA) department. The HOA Department focuses on representation of homeowners’ and condominium owners’ Associations. The ideal candidate will be professional, a self-starter, work well in a team and have excellent attention to detail. He/she will have a paralegal degree and at least 2 years of law office experience. Diverse responsibilities include drafting pleadings and correspondence, assisting in litigation, e-filing and recording documents, communicating with clients and defendants via email/phone, file management (filing, opening and closing files) and general administrative support. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office programs/Outlook/Excel/Word) are required. Experience using PCLaw and TimeMatters, a plus. Candidates with prior experience at practices involving homeowners and condominium associations and familiar with garnishment procedures are preferred.
