JANUARY 21, 2014 – Hanis Irvine Prothero partner Mark Prothero was honored to present two BIG checks to the City of Kent at their council meeting on January 21st.  Mark, current president of the Kent Parks Foundation Board of Directors, presented two checks from the Foundation.  The first was the annual donation from KPF from the Access to Recreation project.  Kent businesses and individuals contributed $9,532.57 through the Kent Parks Foundation towards scholarships to allow kids and adults from low-income families to participate in Kent Parks Department activities.  The second check was from money raised through KPF’s 3rd annual Kent Dancing with the Stars, held October 26th.  The event was a great success, resulting in KPF donating $13,846.15 to the Kent Parks Department.

Mark Prothero and HIP have always been strong supporters of Kent parks.  To learn more about how you can help, go to www.kentparksfoundation.org.
