Mary Beth brings a myriad of experiences to her law practice. In 2000, she graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University, focusing her education on international development and Spanish literature.   From 2001 to 2004, Mary Beth served with Mennonite Central Committee in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, in a program for working children. Returning to Washington State in 2004, she worked for three years with the City of Auburn, strengthening the city’s network of social services and educational programs for the city’s burgeoning immigrant communities.   Through this, she was inspired by the acute need for Spanish-speaking attorneys, and pursued a career in immigration law.

Mary Beth graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law in 2010.  During law school, she served as staff member (2008-09) and Editor in Chief (2009-10) of the Seattle Journal for Social Justice.
